Orlando Kicks win a 3-1 victory over Palm City
FC in the teams premiere game on their home field
The Montverde based Orlando Kicks literally kicked off their season with a 3-1 victory over Palm City FC last week.
Forward Uchenna Kanu made the first goal against Palm City. Teammate and mid-fielder Elin Svennson scored in the second half along with another Kanu goal.
The team is part of the amateur Women’s Premier Soccer League that recently formed in South Lake County. Coach Robbie Aristodemo hopes to attract the attention of the pro-teams to help his players move upward.Watch movie online The Transporter Refueled (2015)
“This was an awesome first game,” Aristedemo declared. “It was a great start and the team is really beginning to gel. You can see them really growing as a team.”
The Kicks will play at their home field again, Saturday, June 11 at 6pm, against the Team Boca Blast. The home games are played at the Montverde Academy soccer field, 17235 7th Street,in Montverde. Admission is $5. Kids wearing their soccer team jerseys get in for free.
